Chimene Granados

Associate Attorney

Chimene assists clients with all aspects of dissolution of marriage and focuses her practice on complex business financial issues. Known for her strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills, she prides herself on providing clients with the tools they need to reach a favorable outcome and lay the foundation for a successful future.

Chimene’s passion for courtroom advocacy, her aptitude for listening, and her analytical skills lend well to practicing family law. She clerked, throughout law school, at another prominent family law firm in Chicago, where she first learned how to effectively and efficiently assist her clients during a difficult period of their lives.

Chimene earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2019, where she focused her studies on business and tax-related courses, and, as a result, earned a Certificate in Taxation. During her time at DePaul, Chimene was selected as a Family Law Fellow, and a Summer Scholar. Additionally, Chimene served as the President of the Child & Family Law Association as well as the Student Representative of the DePaul Family Law Center Board. During law school, she volunteered her time assisting with her alma mater’s Mock Trial Team and was a recipient of the Benjamin Hooks Distinguished Public Service Award and the President’s Award of Service after completing over 200 hours of pro bono work.

Chimene earned her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Psychology, Criminal Justice and Criminology from Loyola University Chicago. Prior to pursuing her legal career, Chimene worked full-time at the Leaning Tower YMCA as the Aquatics and Membership Director, where she developed her passion for helping families and assisting them with life’s challenges.
